The Annual Dinner and Meeting was held on Feb. 26, 2012 at The Landing, St. Anna, MN. We enjoyed an excellent meal with many desserts to chose from provided by our members.
The meeting was brought to order by our President Barb Schloemer, along with our board members, Phil Frericks, Gene Loxtercamp, Keith Wolbeck and Mike Berthiaume.
Treasurer report was read by JoAnn Holthaus and Secretary’s report was read by Linette Blondell. A motion was made , second and approved as read.
Thanks were given to the following people for their participation in the club activities:
Kevin & Gina Happka for providing the seed potatoes for Field Day.
Phil Frericks for having the Spring Plow Day.
Dave and Sue Lusty for hosting the Fall Field Day.

A motion was made to close nominations. The motion was second and carried.

There was a discussion of foal vs cash for our raffle tickets. A motion was made to pay up to $800 for a foal. If none is found to pay $500 for lst prize on our raffled tickets. This would be at the discrection of the board. The motion was second and carried
Nominations for a 2012-2013 NMDHA Queen were accepted.
Jamie Nelson was nominated.
A motion was made, second and carried to close the nominations.

Welcome to the Summer Picnic. The Greenhouse features a full line of Annuals, Shurbs and Perennials including the new extended Bloom and Re-blooming Daylilies. The implement includes 1950’s International Harvester Dealership complete with orginal Sales Counter, General Catalogs and price list as old as 1920, sales brochures, parts books, and new old stock parts from pre 1945 The Museum includes a Blacksmith Ship, a 40x40 room of Farm and Construction Toys, Ho and G scale Trains, a 40x100 Gable Roof Barn and few other sheds full of antique farm machinery and equipment. Everthing will be open for the day of the picnic and I will have as much equipment outside as possible and I will have some specials at the Greenhouse that day just for picnic attendees, You are welcome to come early and look around. Stearns Co. Fair, Sauk Centre-July 24-29, 2012 Draft horse activities will be Friday the 27th at 7:00p.m. for the parade and at 8:00p.m. and exhibition in the outdoor area. This year will be an obstacle course with manure spreaders.
