Summer Meeting and Picnic, June 27, 2010
The Summer Meeting and Picnic was held on June 27, 2010 at LeRoy & Eileen Ritters, Avon, MN. It was a beautiful day with lots of food and conversation.
The meeting was brought to order by President Barb Schloemer.
Thanks were given to Leon Luffey for having the Spring Plow Day and to LeRoy & Eileen Ritter for having the picnic.
The Treasurers report was read by JoAnn Holthaus. A motion was made by Mel Klein to accept the minutes and Bill Pramann 2nd the motion. Motion Carried.
Hank Blondell read the Joke of the Day.
The Secretaries report was read by Linette Blondell. Vi Pramann made a motion to accept the minutes and Keith Wolbeck 2nd the motion. Motion carried.
Old Business:
We will be raffling off a Percheron Filly provided by Ken Lindbald for $350.00.
The Landing will be raising their dinner price from $8.50 to $8.75 per plate. Mel Klein made a motion to accept the price and the club will pay the addition $.25. Steve Relf 2nd. The motion. Motion carried.
The club members will still pay $6.00.
We have picked up 220 DVD’s. The club will be paying $15.00 after 200 DVD’s making $10.00 on each DVD. RFD-TV has aired the Field Days DVD. They have had a lot of comments and question on it.
A motion was made, 2nd and carried to give Mel Klein a DVD for his selling of them and all the work he does in the making of the DVD.
Please check your label; If you have a 2010 your dues are due.
Site for 2011 Field Days:
We are still looking for a site for the 2011 Field Days and for future years. If you are interested in having the Field Days, please contact one of the Board Members.

2010 Club Events
The NMDHA Annual Fall Field Days for 2010, Saturday, Sept 25 hosted by LeRoy and Eileen Ritter at 31912 Co. Rd. 9, Avon, MN. Directions from Interstate 94, take the Avon exit and go South on County Rd 9 for approximately 3 miles. Their farm is below a large hill on the left. Watch for a sign.

Raffle tickets: If you do not sell your raffle tickets please return to JoAnn Holthaus one week before the Field Days so we may sell them. Money for the tickets or the tickets must be returned. This is a law on raffle tickets.
